When it rains it pours, that's what they say. I think Whitley would attest to that. Last week we had the issue with the gal at the DMV, arriving 4 minutes late and them sending us away. Then this weekend she and Chelsey tried to find dates and just had no luck at all. Last night was call backs for the play. She, Chelsey and Glade got called back for reading parts, but Whitley came away feeling like she did not do well. The director mentioned that there would probably only be 15 girls cast in the entire play. She cried for awhile consigning herself to rejection.
Today was going to be a better day. Rhett had his first ortho appointment so we took her with so she could go get her license. After waiting about a half an hour, it was finally her turn. The lady told her where to pull up to so she did. Whitley assumed at this point she would get in the car with her and they would start. Instead she directed her into a spot where she would do her 3 point turn. She had pulled right up to the curb but didn't remember so when she went to turn right into the lane, she completely jumped the curb. I heard the loud noise it made and knew that couldn't be good. The lady failed her right then and there. Didn't even actually start the test. More tears. I guess they consider her unfit to drive today, but tomorrow she could go back to try again. Lucky for her, Rhett's ortho also had an appointment available tomorrow to put the braces on. Let's hope the third time is the charm.

That is so sad. Let's hope tomorrow she gets it. She is such a great girl I hope this doesn't get her too down. Ü
