Track

Track has begun yet again. Whitley is trying her hand at pole vaulting this year. She has never done it and still struggles, but she made 6'6" once. She didn't do so well this meet. She missed all three of her first attempts. She got better with each one though. The last one, she came down with the pole and got a scratch clear down her back. It really hurt a lot. She was tough though and finished the meet by running her 400.

Stephen scratched his first two throws in the discus, which he has really loved, but PR'd on his last throw at 64 feet. It's fun that he has found something he can do and that he really enjoys.


He didn't know he wasn't supposed to be wearing the green shorty shorts! He was really uncomfortable in them, but now he knows better. Those are for the runners. I didn't get a chance to go to many of Chelsey's meets but hopefully I will get to see more of these two.
