I don't know when or who or what or how this started, but for awhile now, my kids have called me "mama". I think I really like it. Something about it sounds soft and endearing. When I tuck Katy in and tell her I love her, I hear a soft and sleepy "I love you too, Mama". I can't explain it, but it's grown on me. I'm happy to be "mama".
